Speaking Philosophy
Most of my talks are live-notebook, real-dataset, build-something-by-the-end-of-the-session kinds of talks. I like audiences that want to understand how applied ML systems actually get built, not just what they do in the abstract.
Selected Talks
| Year | Talk | Venue | Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | Keynote panel on applied AI and developer ecosystems | DevFest WashU 2026 | Practical AI systems, developer tools, and translational AI |
| 2025 | Designing Medicines from Scratch: PyTorch Workflows for De Novo Drug Discovery | PyTorch Conference | Generative models and PyTorch workflows for molecular design |
| 2025 | Case Study in Kinase Inhibitors for Anti-Cancer Therapies | NeurIPS Education Track | ML-guided kinase inhibitor discovery and AI-for-science education |
Good Fits
- Agentic AI systems — deep research, coding, and data science workflows
- Evaluation for AI agents, tool use, long-context reasoning, and production reliability
- ML for drug discovery, cheminformatics, and molecular design
- Hands-on workshops that go from a domain problem to working PyTorch/RDKit code
